CML Digital Checklist

The CML Digital Checklist is a resource for HCPs to aid discussions with patients on disease status and wider comorbidities that could impact treatment decisions. The checklist has been co-created with HCPs to build upon the ELN guidelines with additional clinically relevant questions.

What was requested from our group of HCPs:

  • The checklist must be structured clearly in categories (clinical investigations, comorbidities & risk assessments, QoL) 
  • The checklist should be streamlined to focus most of the HCP's time on understanding how patients are coping
  • Output formats should be tailored to speed up answering (i.e tick box) or to gather more detail (i.e text box) 
  •  HCPs should not use the checklist as a script but as a tool to guide conversations that vary depending on their rapport

What we have delivered:

  • A CML checklist comprised of 12 questions focused on driving "beyond-the bloods" discussions with patients of all stages of CML, taking 10-20 mins to complete
