Dr Tim Benepal is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at St George’s Hospital NHS Trust in London. Dr Benepal completed his oncology training at the Royal Marsden and has been an oncologist for the last 20 years. Dr Benepal is also lead lecturer for St George’s undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. His research interests include lung cancer, mesothelioma and upper gastrointestinal disease.

Indication

XALKORI as a monotherapy is indicated for:1

  • The first-line treatment of adults with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • The treatment of adults with previously treated anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • The treatment of adults with ROS1-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
